Coming Together!

Well we are coming together as a team. Each meet we go to we see significant progress. Last night at Linn was no exception. We had some great performances all around. A few that stand out is Grace Young going 33' in the triple jump, her PR. Also Taylor Young went 15' in all 3 of her jumps. Hannah Campbell ran the 300H for the first time in her career and ran a 55.57 which is very good. The 4x1 and 4x2 of Taylor Young, Grace Young, Hannah Campbell, and Emma Koestner looked the best that they have looked all year. Miranda Hill looked very good in the 1600 and 3200 finishing with very good marks of 5:49 and 12:49 respectively. Cassandra Carter looked very smooth in the 400 dash going 1:07. As far as the boys, they put together some great runs as well. Alan Murphy ended the night battling a Blair Oaks kid in the Pole Vault, both clearing 11' and barely missing on 11' 6". The 4x1 and 4x2 relay teams did a great job as well, they were Jayce Tschirgi, Alan Murphy, Jared Bischoff, and Alex Thompson. Jacob Robertson had a great night personally last night, getting a pr in both the 1600 and 3200. Alex Thompson also competed in the 3200 in his first race ever at that distance and ran a great race to come home in 12:11.
Thanks and hope to see you at a meet.

Today

We had kind of a booboo in our schedule, we were scheduled to go to Versailles today, but found out that we were originally scheduled to go to Linn today. So we are on our way to Linn today for the 2nd Annual Linn/Cole County Challenge. We are teaming up with Blair Oaks to take on Linn and Fatima. Both the high school and middle schools are competing tonight, should be a great night if the weather holds out. Thanks Coach Love

Fatima Blue & Gold Results

I probably shouldn't say anything but, I can not believe that the weather has been so nice this spring. And last night the weather exactly what we wanted in order to run. The highlight of the night was Sarah Koestner again! Sarah won the 1600 and 3200 while smashing her own record in the 3200 by a mere 12 seconds. WOW! We also had some good performances throughout the night, Jessica Potts pr'd in the 400 and the 4x100 team did a great job getting their pr for the season. And Tanya Neal is doing a great job this year in the 300 hurdles, as she has brought her time down every single meet this year. Another girl doing well is Karen Wells, she is getting better and better as the season progresses. For the boys, Dustin Hagenhoff did a great job in the 1600 by getting a pr by about 10 seconds. Alex Earls is also doing very well in the disc and shot. Here are the results, i do not have team scores although i believe the girls finished 4th.

Results

There is another website out there that lists all of the results that I have accumulated throughout the year. I try to put all of the times that I can get my hands on. You can look at the site and see where you stand throughout the state, class, district. Remember these results are only from schools that input the information in the website. Go to athletic.net you will then click on the 'High School' link on the left side. You will then go down on the page and find our school in Class 2. If you have any questions please let me know.
