No 'All-Staters' but some good performances

Well we didn't get Zach or Miranda to become all-staters, but they did preform like champions in my book. Miranda finished 12th with the second best throw of her life, great job Randi. Zach had an awesome race in the 3200 Friday night and bettered his PR by 22 seconds to 10:08, any other year this would have made him all state in Class 2, this time would have won class 1. Zach had two races on Saturday including the 1600, and the 800. Zach ran a pretty good race for 3 laps them locked up and couldn't progress any more, he ended up 11. The 800 was the heartbreak race, going around the 200 meter mark in the 800, someone tripped him up and he landed on his shoulder, but knowing Zach, he got back up and finished the race. Good job Zach.

To Miranda and Zach, I am proud of each one of you, you did a great job this weekend. You represented the school and yourself very well. Thank you for all that you have done.
